In 2001, the Shanghai municipality tried to build a replica of Spain. When they began to consider the questions: “What is Spain like? What does a Spanish house look like?” The architects immediately replied: “Spain means Julio Iglesias”.

Almost two decades ago, the Itoiz swamp flooded seven villages and three natural reserves on the hillsides of the Navarrese Pyrenees. The environmental group Solidari@s with Itoiz documented the fight against its construction on video. Today, those who were there dream of the land that remains underwater. Their voices and gestures are intertwined to account for an individual and collective duel that extends to the present.
