Gulyabani is an entity, a ghoul, an outsider. She is the restless spirit of a desolate and lonely place. Fethiye Sessiz, a clairvoyant from Izmir in the 70s and 80s, recalls episodes of her survival after abuse, kidnapping and violence. Gulyabani recounts the events of her childhood through her diary notes and the letters she writes to her son.
